Go on a rain walk
Listen for dripping leaves, compare puddle reflections and look for silvery trails. Slugs are often easier to see when the ground is cool and damp.
Bring the adventure indoors
Dry off, read a woodland story and use the free Susie Slug colouring sheet. Children can add their own leaves, mushrooms, beetles and raindrops to the page.
